The fifth season of You has not yet been officially renewed, but Penn Badgley and the creator of the series have almost admitted that a sequel will soon be online. The actor who plays Joe Goldberg confirmed that he is still under contract with Netflix for two more years but hopes that season 5 will close the series for good.
For her part, the creator of You revealed that she wanted to stage a tragic end for our favorite anti-hero and if you finished the fourth season, then you know that Joe is far from being chastened for his sins!
It’s now Amy Leigh Hickman’s turn to speak about the future of her character. The young actress played Nadia in the fourth season and since she managed to survive, it is possible that Jonathan’s former student will be back in the continuation of the series.
Amy Leigh Hickman explained to Digital Spy journalists: ” I would love to come back and play him again (…) I think if she can do everything she did in season 4, there’s not much she can’t do ”
Nadia could join forces with Marienne (Tati Gabrielle) to bring down Joe and maybe even Ellie (Jenna Ortega) will join the duo! The producers hope to convince the latter to resume her role in the season 5 of You but for the moment the negotiations are at a standstill.
