The Witcher Season 3: Filming is finally over!

Since the release of the second season online at the end of last year, we have been eagerly awaiting the continuation of the adventures of Geralt, Ciri and Yennefer. The shooting of the season 3 had started in March but had been interrupted in July because of the health crisis.

The producers were very worried because they did not want to make the fans wait more than a year before the release of the third season episodes. In the end, filming was able to resume quickly under health regulations and we have just learned that it has just been completed!

It was the executive producer (Steve Gaub) who shared this great news by posting a photo on his Instagram account which you can check out by clicking here. Unfortunately the release date of season 3 has not yet been announced by the streaming platform. We hope that the editing of the episodes will be completed before the end of the year but The Witcher requires a huge amount of work in post-production especially because of the many special effects that made the success of the series.
