Limp Bizkit cancels all concerts

The group will not come to Europe as planned. Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst is currently not cleared to perform on medical advice.

Bad news for Limp Bizkit fans: the American band has canceled its upcoming concerts, including performances at Wacken Open Air and Highfield Festival, as well as its entire European tour. The reason for this is the medical examinations that leader Fred Durst has to undergo.

For health reasons “and on medical advice to take an immediate break from touring”, the band had to cancel all scheduled events, according to Limp Biskit’s official Instagram account.

“Run some more tests”

Fred Durst also released a video statement on the band’s official website. “In preparation for the 2022 summer tour of the UK and Europe, I have decided to do some tests to make sure I am physically fit and that everything is fine,” said the 51-year-old. year.

But to his surprise, his doctor told him “he doesn’t want me to go on tour at this point”. Instead, the musician should stay nearby “for further testing.” Durst did not reveal details about his health. In the clip, he apologizes to his fans and says confidently, “I can’t wait to make amends as soon as possible.”

Limp Bizkit also stopped in Germany this summer. Among other things, the band are set to perform at Wacken Open Air 2022 and the Highfield Festival in August. Concerts were also planned in Stuttgart, Munich, Frankfurt and Hanover. What will happen to the tickets is not yet clear. Further details will be announced shortly.
