The reappearance of Willem Dafoe as the Green Goblin in Spider-Man: no way home Was one of the key points of the film. After returning to the role, his future within the Marvel Cinematic Universe was left in an uncertain spot. Or not so much.
Willem Dafoe referred to the possibility of returning to play the Green Goblin within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The actor valued in a good way the experience he has had in two moments with the villain. However, there is an essential condition to return to this role within the franchise.
Currently, Willem Dafoe is one of the most prestigious actors in the industry. A figure that can adapt to multiple characters, with an extensive film career, in which any variety of roles can be found. Among them, one of the most significant, commercially speaking, was his passage as Norman Osborn at Spider-Man (2002).

That first installment of the Sam Raimi-directed saga is seen as something of a cult film. Starring Tobey Maguire and antagonized by Willem Dafoe, the production led to two more installments that were not as successful.
