Paramount Pictures has shared the first official poster for Mission Impossible: Deadly Sentenceone of the most eagerly awaited films of the moment. Tom Cruise’s new movie, in fact, should have seen the light of day a long time ago. However, the constant obstacles of the pandemic caused the feature film to be cut multiple times. Now that the health outlook has improved significantly in much of the world, there is no other barrier to its release this year.

Mission Impossible: Deadly Sentencewill be divided into two parts. The first of them will be released next July 14. Undoubtedly, it is one of the reference films of the summer blockbuster. Why? It is one of the few action movie franchises that has maintained a fairly high standard of quality, largely due to Tom Cruise’s dedication to producing content that is cared for down to the smallest detail.

Tom Cruise, since the release of Top Gun: Maverickis enjoying yet another peak in his successful career. The sequel to Top Gun was a commercial and critical success. It even garnered several nominations at the 2023 Oscars, including “Best Picture”. This led to him being regarded as a figure capable of representing the old school of cinema.

But his success during the last months goes a little further: due to his working method, marked by a rigorous care of the scenes and the interpretation of as much sequence as he can, dispensing with stuntmen, Tom Cruise embodies an endangered species within the film industry. The one capable of taking risks, no matter how dangerous they are. The first poster of Mission Impossible: Deadly Sentenceis, of course, proof of the actor’s impetus.

Part of the promotion of Mission Impossible: Deadly Sentence relied on this feature. A few months ago, a video was released in which the actor appeared on a light aircraft that was in mid-flight. Tom Cruise was smiling, to the amazement of those who came to the video for the first time. It is almost a portrait of his career: risk is part of acting and he doesn’t escape from it. On the contrary, he embraces it and is celebrated for it.
